No Glasses and I Crashed & Burned

So I went to the eye doctor and he told me to not wear my contacts for a few weeks and just wear my glasses because my eyes are irritated. I am following his request. Anyways last week I bought a new pair of running shoes, so this last Sunday I thought I would try them out and go for a nice jog. I left my glasses at home because they are a lil loose on my face and would flop all over the place while I jogged. I made it probably 1/2 mile and DOWN I GO! Totally tripped over a rock or my own foot, I dont know! Skinned up my knee pretty good, scratched up my palm, twisted my bad ankle, and most of all scuffed up my new shoes :( It was a sad jog, let me tell ya! Maybe I should just stick to walking. :) 

6 Months & 20 lbs 1 oz

Mr. Colby is getting SOOO big!!! His personality is growing just as big too.  The little man has so many new faces and learning how everything works. It is so much fun to watch his investigate his hands and just watch them move.  We had his 6 months check up and shots, and my big boy barely made a sound, so tuff!!  Still no little teeth but man does he love to nah on everything and have those fingers in his mouth. Pretty much just a awesome  little man and I would not trade him for anything!!!! Now to the good stuff, PICTURES!

Its been the BEST 6 months!

1st Pool Dip

Dylan & I bought Mr. Colbers a lil kiddy pool and took it to my parents this last Sunday!! I think it was a new experience for the little guy, he will start to love it soon I hope!! :) Check out the picts, you can ignore me in them.

After our swim time we just hung out in the house. Dylan and I made chicken tacos. Cody & Cassie were there and then Jake came over when he got home from his Jeep Trip. We played some cards and ate. All in all it was a pretty low key and good day! :)

Horseshoes, BBQ, & Fireworks

 Our 1st Forth of July as a lil family! It was really pretty good. We went to a buds of Dylan's, Bill's house. Bill smoked some ribs that were delicious & Bill's girlfriend Bonnie made some yummy salads. Tuesday on their way home from Bremerton the guys stopped at the reservation and got some fireworks. Dylan purchased some mortars that just made a very loud BOOOM no pretty colors. I was a bit worried Colbs wouldn't like the loud noises, but they lit one off early during the day and my lil man didn't even flinch. He is a super stud. We played some horseshoes, volleyball, and some other yard games. It was perfect weather not to hot not to cold. Colby was the star attraction. Dylan works with to Bills. Both were there and both loved to hold and make faces and Colby.
