1st Cold

We are going on a FULL WEEK of Colby's first Cold & Runny Nose. It has been tough on the lil man but I think it has been tougher on his momma!!! He has dealt with it pretty good, most of the time he doesnt seem bothered by the little bit of snot in his nose. We have discovered someone HATES the snot sucker!! I mean he will start to fuss just seeing it, that part is kinda funny! I hope Colby gets over it soon.

5 MONTHS!!

Mr. Colby is growing like weeds in Washington!!! I cant believe it has been 5 short months, but man have I loved every second of it!! :))
A few facts about my big boy:

  • Weighs in at estimated 20lbs
  • 9 Months clothing is getting a little snug.
  • Sleeps a good 6-8 hours most nights.
  • Just like his daddy, he is a eater!
  • LOVES LOVES LOVES sucking and slobbering on peoples fingers.
  • Rolls over both directions.
  • Locks his legs and has somewhat good balance.
  • Makes the sweetest lil noises when he is fighting sleep.
  • Has his momma wrapped around his finger!
Everyday he makes a new noise or a new face, I don't know how people do it and leave there babies everyday and go to work!! I am so so so very thankful that I can stay home and grow up with Mr Colbers!

Dylan has been working in Bremerton at the Naval Ship Yards. They stay up there Monday - Friday. On a positive note there is NO hunting or fishing shows on during the week. :) I only get to talk to him in the evening mostly, so it kinda stinks, BUT he is working and bringing home the Bacon! This last weekend we found out that Dylan was draw for a special permit. He will be able to bow hunt in the Toutle Unit for Elk. Only 80 permits were given out. So what does this mean to me... when August rolls around we wont be seeing much of him. I hope he gets to get out and enjoy the permit and slaughters a massive bull elk!! :P

I am not loving summer!! My nose is snotty, eyes are itchy, red, and puffy, and my head is pounding. Yes I have allergies. I love spending time at the folks house but its the worse since they live surrounded by hay fields. These allergies are always really putting a damper on my riding. Yes, that's right my father has got my into cycling. I'm not as extreme as he is.But I do enjoy it!! This coming up weekend there is a ride The Tour De Blast. You start at the Toutle Lake High School and ride up the hwy towards Mt St Helens. I am going to do the 35 mile ride while my extreme daddy is going to be doing the 85 mile ride!! Wish me Luck!! Other then that not a whole lot has been going on with me. During the week while Dylan is gone Colby and I go stay with mom and dad for a few nights, which they just love!!
